Revlon Photoready Compact Makeup - Review

What it claims: Perfected, poreless airbrushed skin in any light
-Liquefying screen turns cream to liquid, then dries to a soft powder finish
-Photochromatic pigments bend and reflect light to help erase every flaw
-SPF 20
-Oil free, fragrance free.
-Complete, yet virtually undetectable coverage.
-Soft luminous finish

How to use: Gently press on screen with sponge. Blend with sponge across face, starting in center of face blending outward. For the most natural look blend past jaw line.

Available in 6 Shades: Vanilla, Shell, Natural Beige, Medium Beige, Cool Beige and Rich Ginger

Price: Rs. 780 for 10 gms

What I Liked:
1. The shade was a perfect match for me - 150 shell

2. Didn't break me out

3. SPF 20

What I didn't like:
1. The coverage was almost non-existent - I bet loose powder offers more coverage than this foundation

2. The sponge given along seems to absorb most of the foundation, considering that one gets only 10 gms - I didn't like that.

3. Needs a lot of blending - because you have to use a sponge with this - it results in the sponge rubbing off all the moisturizer you have applied before.

4. Quantity is so less, it would barely last 3 weeks of regular use. After 3-4 uses itself, I was struggling to get some product out on the sponge.

5. After about 2 hours of wear it settles into fine lines & pores - making my skin look dry & oily at the same time.

6. You cannot use a brush with this. Sponge is the way to go. Sponge gets dirty after 3-4 uses.

Would I re-purchase: Absolutely not. A complete waste of money. I got drawn in by the liquefying screen on top of the foundation. Avoid.
