The importance of preservatives in skin care
You will have come across a lot of sites on the net that talk about the dangers of preservatives in skin care and lotions in horrifying terms. Mutagenic, Carinogenic, abrasive, corrosive are some of the terms used freely to describe them.
Preservatives are dangerous. But only in large quanitites. Like gallons. Not in the minute quantities that our creams contain.
In fact if creams were formulated without them, the resulting microbial contamination would be far more toxic to our skin & health than these preservatives can ever be.
