Its exquisite and glide-on formula blends onto the skin for a natural result, with no marks.

· Moisturizing
· Lets skin breathe, oil-free formula
· Dermatologically tested
Price: Rs. 460 for a tube of 10 ml
Expiration date: use within 3 years
I have this in the color – Dark Radiance (53)
Pros:
1.      This is a smooth, creamy, highly pigmented but light in feel liquid concealer. It blends in very easily and gives very high coverage as well
2.      It gives an almost flawless look but looks very natural without looking heavy and made up. Even if you apply a little too much, it is easy to blend away
3.      Does not cake up or crease and stays on for 3 to 4 hours. Does not dry out the under eye skin.
4.      The packaging is good, the tube has a perforated opening which lets out a small amount – just as needed. And it is easy to carry and store due to its size
5.      Smells nice.
Cons
1.      Very small range of shades – and I think I have this in the darkest color – Dark Radiance – and this matches my skin tone exactly (just a shade lighter). I don't know why they have launched such a small range. Maybe they will expand but as of now the selection is very limited and finding your match is a matter of chance. (This shade is almost the same color as my skin - it is just one shade lighter)
2.      Expensive: Costs a bomb at Rs. 460 for a 10 ml tube. But considering that you need to apply a very very tiny amount of this, it should last for at least 3-4 months
3.      I have used this only on my under-eyes. I don’t know how it fares on blemishes. I prefer to use a harder concealer on blemishes so it stays put.
4.      There is no ingredient list – so I don’t know how much of these fruits extracts it contains.
Will I re-purchase: Yes. Until I find something as good and cheaper.
I have been looking for a good concealer since some time, but nothing seemed to impress me. But this one is not only very easy to use but I also find it delivers on its promise. It is a little expensive, but when I consider that it works so well, and that a good base is the secret to good make-up, this seems worthwhile, unless I find a cheaper and better performing concealer. It is almost error proof because of its easy blending and high coverage. You will not end up with too much and it does not look cakey or weird at all.
It just blends in like skin.
I even got the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation. Will put up the review for that next week.
For swatches you can go here and here.

  1. Finally..the much awaited Bourjois healthy Mix is here..But I guess its yet to reach Blr market.

You have a very light complexion no? In that case, if their darkest is 1 shade lighter than your skin tone, then probably they haven't come up with shades for darker tones.

Btw, have you tried Colorbar creamy concealer. I bought it last week and have been loving it so far.

    Good review.

  2. @Poornima: Yup, it is here in Mumbai. Launched like a month ago.

There range for concealors is very bad for darker skin tones.

As per Bobbi Brown the concealer should be 2-3 shades lighter than the skin tone, so if you go by her a more darker person than me could use this as well. Each to her own.

Don't know about the foundations though.

I have heard about colorbar concealer but it has been discontinued here - I was told this in 3 separate stores by 3 different SAs. They say it has been discontinued as it was not doing well, I was actually looking for that earlier - for a good 2 to 3 months. I gave up then and looked in other brands and liked bourjois the best and it was the most economical.

    Thks :)

  7. @Poornima: Bourjois Healthy Mix is available in Bangalore at Lifestyle in Koramangala (Sony World junction). Atleast I think it is coz I saw a huge bourjois healthy mix advt covering an entire wall, and they do have a bourjois counter.

@Tanvi: Looking forward to your review on the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation. Hope it's a good product coz the search for my HG foundation is still on ;)

  8. @Anamika: Thks :).. Concelor is one product I don't mind spending a bit on coz a lil goes a real long way, plus it makes a lot of difference to the skin. I will try out this L'oreal one? U shd try to do a review on it :)

Thks - I do try to be as objective and honest as i can be. Someone might try a prdt depending upon my review, and skin differences not widstanding, I would hate to give them a wrong impression and waste their money, as far as possible :)

  17. Oh my quest for concealing my under eye circles never ends! I might try this, but I've also heard very good things about a Bobbi Brown concealor + powder duo package.

  18. It does not sound like its a concealer by name at all..I thought that this was some new lotion type product which wld even out the skin!!Fancy name!!

I like hw it sounds- Is expensive though!!And wats up with the no-ingredient list!!They wld not do this abroad!
    Nice crisp style of review!1

  19. nice review...tanvi, but doesnt it smell like fuller's earth? something like clay? y do i get such strange smell, then? I told sarah abt that, but she didnt agree...

if they launch wide range of shades, we find them too confusing...if less # of shades, we feel it would be better if they came up with more # of shades...LOL...i told the same to Sonali :)

  20. @Jamilla: I too love this concealer! So glad we aren't shelling out extra bucks like we normally do. Thks for sharing and dropping by! :D

  22. @Rati: Yup, I really like this concealor. Will do foundation review nxt week.

Frankly I am yet to jump onto the mineral makeup bandwagon, but Divs recommended TBS Mineral makeup line as good :)

@Ashwini: We don't get bobbi brown make up here :(... yet. :)

  23. @Simran: Don't even get me started on the names they are coming up these days. I would say Healthy Mix - sounds like a fruit drink, rather than a concealor. :D.

It is expensive, but you need to use very very little, so it would last even with daily usage for at least 3-4 months.

    Thks :D

  24. @Divs: Nahi ya, it smells a little fruity to me :P..

Small range is good for those who manage to find a suitable shade, so I pretty much don't care if they have a tinsy-winsy range as long as i get my match

For those who can't it is a problem - kinda like how mentioned in your review of TBS Mineral Foundation.

  26. The post is very informative....i did try the concealers but they are too white for indian skins....maybe good for north indians but horrible for ones in mumbai...i wish bourjois made more colors for indian skin tones as the texture is AMAZING!!
    thanks
