Inglot BP Eye Lash Curler - Review

First of all, thank you so much for bearing with me while I was underground in the last few weeks. I just wasn't in the mood to write.

Moving on....

The Inglot BP Eye Lash Curler..

It claims: nada...

Price: Rs. 240/- for a single piece. An extra rubber pad has been provided for in the unit itself at the bottom.

Availability: in store or online at majorbrands.com

What I liked:

1. I have a morbid fear of the metal eyelash curler. It really looks like a medieval instrument of torture to me. And as I see it approaching my eyes, I can hear the soundtrack of "Psycho" playing in my head. Hence for the longest time I have relied on curling mascaras to do the trick. This is a god-sent for me. It doesn't scare me one bit, and it is very, very gentle. I suspect anyone else who has the same irrational fear as me can easily work with this.

2. It does curl eyelashes, at least it does curl mines. You just have to hold for 30 seconds at least.

3. A replacement pad is provided.

4. I love the price :-)

5. It is really tiny & shuts close to fit snugly into your kit/purse. Although I don't recommend curling lashes that already have dried mascara on them. They tend to be stiff and can break off.

What could be better:

1. A instruction paper with it would have been nice, it took me 30 minutes to figure out how to use it.

2. A bit of my eyemakeup always tends to transfer onto the plastic bit that rests on my top lid. Nothing major, but I don't like it.

3. I can't compare it with the metal ones. I really don't know if it is better or worse off. But the curl does droop off after 30 minutes. You want it to stay? Use a mascara pronto and use it from the underside of the lashes to as to not droop them down again.

4. It is very difficult to curl the lashes on the outer corner as the curve to this is very less.

Would I re-purchase: Do I have a choice? This is the only plastic curler I know of, and the other alternative is to walk around with uncurled lashes.

  5. Though this looks non scary, but 30 seconds to hold eye lashes is quite much. The metal ones are supposed to be held for 10 secs is what an SA told me when I first bought my metal curler.

    1. Yes, the metal ones work faster and plus they can be heated also before use. This is no replacement for that... I'm just unable to use that so I make do with this :)
