Aroma Magic Fairy Lotion - How to Use

A reader Litchi, posted a question asking me a method for applying the Aroma Magic Fairy lotion.

For those of you who have not used it, it is watery liquid that helps clarify & brighten skin tone. I will be reviewing that shortly, but first to answer Litchi's question.

The lotion is very runny, very watery making it a little difficult to use. The bottle says that one ought to apply it to the face. (not very helpful)

Here is what I do:
1. I have transferred the contents into a spray mist bottle. I first lightly mist my entire face & neck with the solution. Even if you don't have a mister, don't fret. Just take half-a-spoonful of the solution and pat all over face.
2. Very quickly take a pea-sized amount of moisturizer, (when the face is still wet with the lotion) and rub all over face, mixing the Fairy lotion well into the moisturizer. Continue until it is absorbed. (The lotion gets trapped in the oils of the moisturizer, thereby ensuring longer & greater contact with skin as well as better absorption)

I suppose you can also use it as a toner, by applying a cotton soaked in the same all over the face. But frugal me feels gulity as it seems like it all just might evaporate without doing anything to the face.

  1. Thanks a lot for this review! Actually when i got my parcel i was quite surprised because for me a lotion is like a cream. I mean like a body lotion, aloe vera lotion... so i was confused!!!
    Thanks again.

  2. I know!! Even I think of lotion as a watery cream... Their label is very very misleading.. Its actually a watery product that is quite difficult to use.

  3. I had a bad reaction with this product. That's so sad because i bought a 500ml bottle. now i'm wondering what i can do with that. i could maybe use that for my body??!! Don't know.
    Does it work for you??
I'm quite disapointed by this brand. i tried their anti pigmentation serum and no improvement.

  4. @ Anon: This is a common problem with herbal products. Allergies to diff essential oils can make life difficult.

I am not sure this thing works coz it didn't seem to help me at all.

I think you can use it on your feet and hands which sometimes get pigmented more than the face as we wear open shoes.
