Update on Biotique Red Wood Naturally Tinted Mosituriser

Thank YouImage by jaredchapman via Flickr
I have to thank both Sarika & Lavanya for this. Thank you!

Some of you might remember that there was some debate on the shades available. Lavanya had mentioned then in comments  that Olive is the lightest, followed by Peach and then Rose.

Sarika corroborated this last night. She uses this product and luckily for her, the store had testers when she bought this.

I hope this helps those of you who go shopping for this product and land up in a store w/o testers.

  1. Thanks for the update Tanveer..

The shops in Bangalore(atleast the 3 outlets I visited) did not even have the product, leave alone a tester..But will keep in mind if I ever come across these here..

Biotique..are you listening?? Ladies in bangalore need you here :-)

  2. Poorinma - Even I visited 3 Health & Glows which are in koramangala and Garuda mall. When I enquired for tinited moisturiser, they were starring at me as if I asked them something wrong ;) Then I explained them about the new product launches. They said it may take months time to hit the bangalore store. Will keep u updated if I find anywhere...

  5. @Poornima & Vidhya: Frankly I am shocked! This is an homegrown Indian Brand, how can it take so long for it to arrive in a major metro! They shd start online retailing if it is so tough for them to set up a logistics network..

@Simran: I agree, there is so much disparity across the country in terms of availability!

    @Lavanya: Thks again :D

  6. @ Vidhya : Today I had gone to more than one H&G and nobody seems to know abt this product. But...they did have a product brochure which clearly featured this..

And..worst part..The SA at H&G in Forum, Kormangla told me that they will not be getting this product at all. I asked her why and she said "This product is not going to be updated in my shop Ma'm, since the company will not be sending it here."

    My reaction : Shocked!!!

@Tanveer : This is teh condition in Bangalore dear...I am totally P'ed off

  7. Heh heh...looks like I'm going to be the official makeup spotter for bangalore ;)

Saw biotique tinted moisturiser in SPAR supermarket on bannerghatta road. Also, Star Bazaar has a whole shelf for Biotique so they might have the tinted moisturiser too. The shelf is right at the end, near the checkout counters, which makes it easy to miss :p

Only drawback with buying makeup in supermarkets is that the stocks run out soon and take some time to replenish. Also, no testers available :|

  8. It is available in Spar?? OMG..That would be the last place where someone looks for a cosmetic item and that too such a product. Anyways..Thank you so much for the information :-)

And yes, you can be an official product spotter for Blr haha

  9. @Jewel: Thks a lot for sharing information. U r officially our makeup spotter for B'lore.

@Vidhya & Poornima: I hope u r able to locate this now. Maybe there is some issue b/w the managements of H&G and Biotique, try looking in regular malls - I too have spotted this in places like Star Bazaar.

  11. Hi Tanveer,
Hi, I am dusky and after reading reviews here, I went and bought biotique tinted moisturizer-Rose. Till now I have been using Garnier sun control mosituriser and I liked it, but it does make my face look shiny. But with this one, my face looks totally matte!! Also it makes me look darker!!! I thought I am pretty dark, so would you suggest that I try peach since it is slightly less dark?
