Ingredients: Aqua, Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, Homosalate, Ethylhexyl salicylate, alcohol denatured, benzophenone-3, Distarch phosphate, butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, dimethicone, sodium phenylbenzimidazole sulfonate, cetearyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate SE, tocopheryl acetate, glycerin, cetyl alcohol, hydrogenated coco-glycerides, ethylhexylglycerin, xanthan gum, PEG-40, castor oil, trisodium EDTA, sodium cetearyl sulfate, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, BHT, parfum.

What I liked:

1. It offers both UV A & UV B protection. It is SPF 30 & PA++

2. It claims to offer immediate sun protection, so if you are one of those people always in a hurry and hate that sunscreen rule of applying 30 minutes before stepping out, this is a really good option.

3. It is water resistant, great for humid weather in mumbai during the rains.

4. It is quite moisturizing, hence one can safely skip using a body lotion with this, at least during summers & monsoons. No need to layer on products.  Plus it is also non-sticky, so it doesn't feel heavy on the skin.

5. This apparently one of the variants - they offer lotions in higher SPF too, upto 50 for those who stay out much longer. Plus they have smaller sizes too.

6. No white cast! One of the big issues with most sunscreens is that dreaded white cast, but this one doesn't have that issue.

What could be better:

1. The lotion doesn't say if it is meant for the face or the body. I decided not to take a chance and used it only the body.

2. It takes a bit of rubbing in, to blend it in well.

3. While it doesn't have a really bad or offensive fragrance, it ain't very great either. It is somewhere in the middle and could go either way for some of us. But it does dissipate after 2 hours.

Overall: This is a good option for those of us looking for a sunscreen for the body. Most of our face products have SPF built into them, but body lotions rarely have sunscreens. This one combines not only moisturizer but also sun protection making it an excellent 2 in 1 product. This is great for those of us who hate applying layers or don't have much time in the morning.

I have been using this only for two weeks though, and it during this period it does seem like my feet & arms haven't tanned. I will update this post after using it for a few more weeks, if I observe that it did indeed, protect me from tanning.

    1. You are? hmmm, maybe the SPF 50 one has higher concentration of the sunscreen na? Or I'm rubbing it in more? Or else it cld be coz of skin color differences - maybe it blends more easily into my skin. God knows. :)
