Price: Rs. 225 /- for a tube of 100 gms

Pros:

1. Very, very moisturising. If you read the ingredient list, you will notice that Glycerin is the first ingredient. Ingredients are always listed in their order of quantity and to be honest, this is the first face wash I have used that has glycerin as it's highest and main component. Most of you will know that Glycerin is a wonderful product for the skin, it hydrates and moisturises without creating oiliness.

2. Softens skin without leaving behind any oiliness or a film on the skin.

3. You need very little of this for the entire face and neck. It is a foam that turns into cream upon contact with water.

4. It did make my skin appear more radiant and brighter. Not sure how it did that though.

Cons

1. The exfoliating beads are far too small and tiny, IMO, to do any exfoliation.

2. The price is very high for a face wash.

Will I re-purchase: No.

This is very expensive for a face wash, considering all it does is moisturise well. The exfoliation is too mild to be effective.

What is your favourite face wash at the moment?

  2. @Anamika: Yea, it is quite expensive. I wld use Garnier when I was in college. I agree, they were okish..

@Rakhshanda: Even I quite like Himalaya for facewashes.. Not tried VLCC yet.

  3. Ya I agree that they're super expensive. I wanted to try it, but then I ended up buying the one for oily skin which is also a foam-based face wash. Actually I think the entire age miracle range is expensive. The day cream (which is spf 15 & PA++)is 140 bucks for 10gms! I recently bought it coz they have a special offer on it (for 99 bucks!)

  4. Do they have another one for oily skin (previous comment)? I saw the one you have reviewed and was unsure if it would be any good...sounds good to me now :-)

  5. I've used this one...did no wonders for me. but price is not really a con here since as u said, a tiny amount is enough. my tube lasted 3 months(used twice everyday). so, it turns out to be cheaper than others. but not worth a repurchase.

  8. I love the neutrogena facewash..they cost around 170 Rs for a medium sized bottle, and i absolutely love it. Its a very very deep cleanser and you can actually feel your face feel tingly and fresh after that. Its my go-to product once im back home from work...

  9. What I use for face wash is from Sundaram- their sandal in a clay pot.

    Do check their product catalogue

    It is exotic.

  10. @Poohkie: Yea the age miracle creams are expensive, because they have some patented molecules CLA4 complex in it. But they have reduced the prices now na? The 50 gm tub is available for 299/-

@Rads: No. They don't have a facewash in the age miracle line for oily skin. But Ponds has other face washes in other lines- white beauty and so on, one of theses lines consists of products for oily skin.

@Anon: Yea, you do need a tiny bit only.

@Simran: I guess the best is to get body shop buffer and then use it with face wash of your choice :)

@Palak: Yea, she may like it :)

@Mehak: I have heard a lot of good things about Neutrogena myself. It is said to be a very good face wash for combination - oily skin. Glad to know it works so well for you. It feels great when you have a good cleanser - it makes a huge difference to the skin.

@Kiran: That sounds so super exotic: sandal in clay pot. I will def chk out this line :)

  11. I have used the face wash and it did brighten my skin first five six times of the application but later on it is acting just like any normal face wash. Nothing special about it and is too expensive. And, exfoliation is not its strong suit any how. Causes dryness if you use the face wash in large quantity as very little amount of it is enough for covering face and neck both. Foams a lot.
